‘Madison County’ To Hog Shelf And Hard Drive Space On May 8th!
Director Eric England is only in his early 20’s but his new slasher, Madison County – which we’ve teased in this extensive exclusive set report – is now set to hit DVD and Digital Download on May 8th!
“Dating back to the fairy tales of Grimm, the woods have always been a place of immense beauty, but also of abject terror. Perhaps it’s the lack of civilization, or not knowing what lurks around the next tree, but sometimes what seems idyllic and bucolic only masks the path to death itself! On May 8th, Image Entertainment presents Madison County on DVD and digital download. Premiered at last year’s prestigious ScreamFest — the only film to sell out during the festival! — and already abuzz with anticipation among genre fans, Madison County promises an excursion into rural terror that pays homage to the original ‘Texas Chain Saw Massacre’ and ‘The Town that Dreaded Sundown’. SRP is $27.97 for the DVD.”
“Madison County is about a group of college kids that travel to a remote, mountain town called Madison County to interview the author of a tell-all book on the accounts of the grisly murders that happened in the town over two decades ago. Upon their arrival, the author is no where to be found and the townspeople state that they’ve “not seen him in years.” They also deny that Damien Ewell, the notorious murderer, ever existed and that the murders never happened. As the kids start to dig around to get their own answers, they come to find that the stories, and Damien, maybe more real than the townspeople are letting on.”
Directed, co-produced and written by Eric England, Madison County stars Ace Marrero (who also co-produced), Colley Bailey, Matt Mercer, Joanna Sotomura, Natalie Scheetz, Katie Stegeman, and Adrienne Harrell, with Laid To Rest’s Nick “ChromeSkull” Principe as the savage killer Damien Ewell.

Horror Romance ‘Leviticus’ Heads Home to Digital Next Week
After releasing in theaters last month, NEON announced today that horror romance Leviticus will arrive on digital platforms to rent or own beginning July 28, followed by a Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD Combo and DVD release on September 8, 2026.
Leviticus marks the feature debut by writer/director Adrian Chiarella.
Joe Bird (Talk to Me) and Stacy Clausen play star-crossed teenage boys who must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most — each other.
Mia Wasikowska (Crimson Peak), Jeremy Blewitt, Ewen Leslie (The Nightingale), and Davida McKenzie (Silent Night) round out the cast of horror movie Leviticus.
“Leviticus is a strong debut with an incisive voice at the helm,” I wrote in my review out of Sundance. “We care deeply about Naim and Ryan’s survival, making Leviticus a tense, atmospheric, and claustrophobic vision of young love in a hateful world.”
“Leviticus is the perfect title for writer-director Adrian Chiarella‘s powerful feature debut,” Meagan’s review explains, “a searing anthem against the corrosive nature of fear and bigotry.”
The physical media release comes packed with exclusive bonus features, the home entertainment release includes a feature commentary with Adrian Chiarella, interviews with Chiarella, Stacy Clausen, and Joe Bird, an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette, and the official trailer.
Look for Leviticus on Digital next week, and check out the box art for September’s Blu-ray release this September.
