Get the Full Plot Crunch of Slash’s ‘Nothing to Fear’
In the first of a slate of horror films from production company Slasher Films (founded by rock legend Slash), Gore Verbinski’s protégé and visionary director Anthony Leonardi III, bring us the previously announced Nothing to Fear, a terrifying and bloodcurdling vintage horror film.
With Thomas Haden Church attached to star, the film follows a young family as it tries to reinvent itself by moving to a small town in rural Kansas. The family is tormented by an ancient demon with an insatiable blood lust.

Anchored around the complicated, nuanced relationship of the two teenage sisters, NOTHING TO FEAR takes sibling rivalry to a chilling new dimension of bloodlust and fear. Each of the sisters play a dangerous and frightening part of an ancient ritual that unleashes a demonic fury that will change the family forever.
Based on Legend: Stemming from folklore surrounding the actual town of Stull, Kansas, generations of residents and outsiders alike have proclaimed Stull to be one of the seven known gateways to Hell, where once a year, the Devil will rise from the town’s modest graveyard to walk the Earth. For decades, television, music, movies, and more have cautiously addressed the town; its horror is so infamous, even Pope John Paul II refused to fly over its grounds. NOTHING TO FEAR finally pulls the folklore to the forefront and reveals the unsettling fact and fiction rumbling beneath the surface.”
Umbrelic Entertainment has announced the upcoming horror movie The Possession at Gladstone Manor, which will be wrapping up production later this week.
The film’s cast includes Caylee Cowan (Hypnotic), Jesse Metcalf (John Tucker Must Die), Charlotte Kirk (The Reckoning), Darren Weiss (Inside Man), Barbara Crampton (You’re Next), William Mapother (Blackhat), and Lin Shaye (Insidious franchise).
In The Possession at Gladstone Manor, “When Jamie Black discovers her mother has gone missing, she resolves to investigate by applying for the same job her mother held at Gladstone Manor. Jamie soon finds evidence that her mother isn’t the only missing person, and that she may be dealing with sinister forces beyond this world.
“Desperate, she enlists the help of her brothers – Rupert and Chris – and Sam (Chris’ fiancée): all of whom are professional criminals and former marines. Once Jamie arrives at the house, she is immediately greeted by a mysterious and evil Nurse, and soon realizes the residents of Gladstone Manor are an enemy like no other, with a dark power she’s never faced. Trapped in the house, she must rely on her brothers and future sister-in-law to save her.”
Director K. Asher Levin (Dig) co-wrote the script with Danny Matier (The Unborn), from a story by Addam Bramich. Theresa Wayman from Warpaint is composing the score.
