It must really take Clive Barker a long time to write his scripts, because he just recently turned in his draft to Universal- but hey, he's a busy guy AND he has tons lined up for us in the coming years! Inside you'll further confirmation on the progress of Tortured Souls the movie, which was reported in the newest issue of Rue Morgue, which is on newsstands now.
An update from Spawn.com:
"It's been awhile since we've had anything to report on the Tortured Souls
feature film and while I don't have anything too terribly groundbreaking, I can tell you
that we received Clive Barker's latest draft of the script yesterday. At this very moment
the script is in Todd's hands and once he's had the chance to read through it he will
give Clive his notes and from there it will be turned over to studio for any comments.
As I've said before, Hollywood moves very slowly, but things continue to roll along and
hopefully it won't be too much longer before we have an approved script so production
can begin moving forward. I will keep you informed whenever there are new
developments with this and any of our other entertainment related projects."
