We were waiting on a clean, hi-res version, so without further adieu we present to you the first “official” image of John Cusack as Edgar Allan Poe in Relativity Media’s tentatively titled The Raven, which arrives in theaters March 9, 2012.
James McTeigue’s thriller is set in the last days of Poe’s life, when he gets wrapped up in a serial killer investigation.
“Luke Evans will play a detective who partners with Poe (Cusack) to search for a serial killer who has kidnapped the author’s fiancee (Alice Eve) and has gone on a murder spree that mimics the author’s work.”
