I have an awesome idea for a sequel to the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Hypothetically, it would star the late Dennis Hopper and Caroline Williams, and instead of a grueling descent into madness, it will be a perverted Splatstick comedy romp. Somebody get on that, why don't they?

I'm a huge fan of Leatherface and I will enjoy this. I love all the TCM movies.

It can't be any worse than what PD did. Nice to see that reboots are the "end all" of continuing a series. Some got the notion that once a reboot is greenlit, it's finito for the original series. Nice to see a "spinoff/side-story/alternate canon" branching off from the original franchise. Who knows, maybe that's a new trend in the making, "Branch canons". Then maybe we could go back to the original NOES and Ft13 franchises and continue the story from an alternate canon(like ignoring NOES2-6 and continuing straight after NOES1, bring back an older Nancy and a new story, or tweek the ending of The Final Chapter so that Jason didn't "die" and continue on the "living Jason" while ignoring Ft13th part 5-Jason X).

Anything with Leatherface is going to interest me, but on that same note, anything in 3D is going to keep me away. We've had enough with the 3D already haha Next thing you know, they will be remaking Leprechaun in the Hood in 3D...or even Shades of Darkness: 3D. God help us.

WE've heard the cult idea before with the Friday reboot and nightmare reboot and possibly even FvJ. Doubt it actually happens. I am personally a fan of the Remake of TCM and TCM:TB so if they can keep them good then they can keep them coming, though 3D needs to back the fuck off.

Out of all the remakes, TCM is the one that was handled the best. I mean, "The Beginning" wasn't even TOO bad. So...maybe this could be good. I guess we'll see.

I'm not a fan of 3d but Leatherface will be Bubba again and not Thomas! Thats really cool. I didn't hate the remake/pre-make but I liked Leatherface better as a crazy retard rather than a dude who was pissed he had bad skin.
