As you (should) already know, the majority of Lionsgate’s Buried (review) takes place inside a coffin. Directed by Rodrigo Cortes, Ryan Reynolds plays a U.S. contractor working in Iraq who awakens to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it’s a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap. With the plot keeping the audience nice and confined, there are only so many images that can be released — inside you’ll find another dozen looks at Reynolds six feet under. Buried arrives in theaters September 24.
