Update: 'Saw 3D' will arrive in theaters October 29 to avoid a brutal battle with 'Paranormal Activity 2'. They weren't lying when they said they were saving the best for last. The teaser for Lionsgate's Saw 3D has arrived online and displays a scope never before seen in the franchise. How big will the grand finale be? Hopefully massive. As I stated earlier, there's hope as Saw VI director Kevin Greutert returns behind the camera for the seventh and (supposedly) final film in the franchise. The real questions is: when will it be remade? Let's open the betting....
"This October, one of the biggest, most successful horror franchises in movie history arrives in theaters in vivid, chilling 3-D with the release of Lionsgate’s SAW VII 3-D.
As a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw’s brutal legacy, a group of Jigsaw survivors gathers to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen, a man whose own dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror...
The first theatrical feature to be shot exclusively on the cutting-edge SI-3D digital camera system, SAW VII 3-D brings the horrifying games of Jigsaw to life like never before. The film stars Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell and Sean Patrick Flannery. SAW VII is directed by Kevin Greutert, produced by Oren Koules, Mark Burg and Gregg Hoffman. SAW VII 3D is a Lionsgate Release. Twisted Pictures Presents a Burg/Koules/Hoffman Production. "
Interesting. I don't think 3D was the way to go with "the end" of the series, but the studio needs to do something unique for people to sit through another horrible SAW movie. I agree with Brainbug with the public executions, it will be a nice transition from the norm. I am certainly excited to see PA2 and SAW duke it out.
awww it sucks that its so breif! i cannot wait to see this film now its gunna be be AWESOME, im so gutted that i looks like jills gunna snuff it :( and disapointed we didn't get to see Dr G
this trailer is AMAZING!! it very nearly beats the epicness that was the deathly hallows trailer
I really hope this is at least as good as part VI so the series can go on a high night.... IDK i can't believe i am saying this but i may actually see this in theaters! Just not in fake 3D.
@Krug09 It's not in fake 3D. It was shot in real 3D, not converted in post. Piranha 3D is fake 3D. Trailer has me excited for what's in store for Hoffman and the gang.
The last one was a big improvement to the one before that, which was better than the second to last one which showed up the first one, leaving the fourth one as a definite step up from the third to the improved fifth one, so obviously this is gonna be the best ha ha
You have to be completely retarded or 11-16 years old to be even remotely interested in this movie. Like one of those "not allowed to be left alone" retards.
all those traps look reeeeeeally far fetched compared to anything seen in the past.. I will end up seeing this and then regretting it just like the last 5 Saw movies I saw. That first and second just keep me comin' back.
I am extremely pumped for this movie now. First of all, the production values have greatly increased. Second of all, the highest 3-D resolution cameras are being used for this movie. Furthermore, the traps look SICK. Cannot wait. I am extremely disappointed that I have to wait one more week.
i agree w/ mr brainbug. the public executions/tests are going to make this at least a unique SAW movie. and is that Jill (the blonde woman) in one of the traps? i like her character. i hope she doesn't die in this. Costas BETTER fucking die. he's annoying.
Nobody every remembers the guy that Detective David Tapp (Danny Glover) and Detective Steven Sing(Detective Steven Sing) saved from the 2 drills going in to his neck.
Looks like they finally got back to how things are suppose to be LOL.
hoping for some epic finale, like jigsaw has everybody in a trap. Thats what one scene looked like with everybody looking around.
This looks amazing but Jill better not die! Hoffman better die, damn it.
