Craven probably can't find the time to sign on yet because he's too busy planning how he's gonna murder Micheal Bay, Brad Fuller, Samuel Bayer, and that other Platinum Dunes asshole...what's his face. At least that's what I'd be doing if I were him.

And Craven didn't create Scream, Kevin Williamson did. As good as Craven is, Scream was a success due to Williamson's writing. That's why Scream 3 sucked. and yes...the first one was spooky...but all the freddys sucked. what was in the last one with the girl from the first movie coming back...a long arm that stretched...yeah. i was scared!! the character of freddy was good, but cause wes craven has a unique name...and he's a director...dont mean his movies dont blow. im most certain the new freddy will be better even if it isnt good. THAT'S A FACT

The Weinstein Company probably hasn't been able to offer Craven something he could accept because they are going to go bankrupt sometime soon.

Getting very annoying

I still laugh whenever I think about Scream 2 because the killer was......wait for it......Roseanne Barr's googly-eyed wacky sister from the Roseanne Show Laurie Metcalf. Hilarious.

I couldn't care less either way. Make the movie or don't make it....Scream was NOT that big of a deal to begin with. In my opinion, the only good thing that came from Scream was the spoof in Scary Movie. Thank you Craven and Williamson for inspiring the Wayans Bros. to create a hilarious movie! Scream stands the test of time people! Where would horror even be today if Scream never were??? think about that! it revived the genre and honestly I was 12 when it came out and I remember sitting in that theater in complete mesmerized state! And today still nothing has beat it! It stands as my all time favorite with two great sequels! I've waited 10 ears for this! And it will literally kill me if its not made! Kevin's on board guys, he can do something new and fresh.Hell they can make 10 michaels 12 jason's and 9 freddys....but u dont think this warrants a 4th?WTF??? Those 3 movies are brilliant especially 1 and 2 and 3 only lacked bc kevin didnt write it! COME ON WES MAKE THE TRUE FANS HAPPY! Hell even hard ass Neve signed on!

MrDisgusting was getting a hard-on thinking about Scream 4 getting made and came when he heard Wes Craven was going to direct it. Face it, MrDisgusting, it's not going to happen. Craven died at the end of the 80's because all of his films have been shit since then. This includes ALL of the Scream films.
