To go along with the trailer posted a few weeks back, beyond the break you'll find a bunch of new hi-res stills from Kaare Andrews's Altitude. The images don't tease any of the H.P. Lovecraftian happenings, but we do get a good look at Jessica Lowndes and Julianna Guill, the two leading beauties of the film. Lost in a mysterious cloudbank, a rookie pilot and her four teenage friends must contend with a freak mechanical failure that first sends their small plane climbing to an impossible height, and then plummeting through endless mist. After regaining control, the survivors are confronted with a horrifying realization - the very ground beneath them has vanished and a malevolent force lurking in the clouds wants them dead.
Give me a friggin' break with muscle free, emotional, zac effron lookalikes with poncey foreward brushed hair. In my day these are the guys everybody laughed at. Twilight hippy emos
Klepto4, i have to admit i DO NOT get the appeal of that forward brushed, girlish, feminine looking hair on guys either. they are more feminine looking (not the blonde guy in the back) than the gorgeous girls are. and Jessica is STUNNING! just wow! and of course Julianna is hot as well. i DO think this movie looks pretty cool though.
I think that whole Zac Effron hair thing is a by-product of the anime craze and its often asexual heroes. Same androgynous hair, same ambiguous builds. But to hell with the wussy "dudes"... this flick is all about the hot chicks (and, of course, Lovecraft)!
Enough about hair ... this plot and the poster makes me think that someone who loved the last 10 minutes of The Mist decided to change the scene to an airplane, change the characters to teenagers, and stretch it out into a movie. And you can tell by the comic book Creepshow/Tales From The Crypt bits that it's all going to end up being a dream that the guy had when he blacked-out from reaching high altitude. Yawn!
Agreed, enough with the hair, looking forward to the ladeez in this also. Yep I'll probably still watch the movie even if the reviews are bad (hell I even went to the cinema to see FD4 in 3d). At worse it should be cheesy fun in a good way, which can't be too bad. Have to remember that HP Lovecraft = Reanimator (I think), so if it's of that quality then should be terrific. But judging by the stills, I'm not sure
