-_- good movie when it was the genetic opera.

this movie will be so much better than 1 from of REPO! (IMO). i LOVE Sarah Brightman and i even like Darren but the movie was god awful. this at least looks like a good action/drama. no terrible songs (like in REPO) for miles, which is just fine with me.

oops i meant "than 1 FRAME of film from REPO". lol.

It was very blah, I believe I'll like this and Mambo(if it ever comes out) better

i enjoyed repo the genetic opera i dont think it should of been remade or reimagined already i mean thats pretty much what this is or just a whole ripoff completely... i wont be paying to see a ripoff sorry

People, stop complaining about how it looks exactly like Repo! The Genetic Opera! I love Repo! but I think Repo Men looks very fun and this discussion has been going on for so long, just move on already! There will be other movies like this, trust me...

Repo Men or 'Repossession Mambo' as it was first titled was shot long before Genetic. The script itself has been floating around town for a while before Universal gave it the green light. If anyone cares to know...

fuck did i hate REPO! The Genetic Opera. Ohhhhh god, did I hate it. Shame, because i really liked the premise... but then it tried just a little too hard down the tim burton path, and just a little too hard on my nerves. But this... this is going to be the real Repo. just like the gentleman above me stated.

This looks good and cast is not too shabby either.

I guess they figured they would just take a shitty movie like repo a genetic opera and then throw in some decent actors and go for a more hollywoodized version only without the god awful music and singing and no one would notice.

I'm all for taking a horrible, shitty movie with a good premise and then making a good movie out of it. The posters are good. Hope the movie is as well.

dont gimme wrong, repo men looks like a good action thriller, and im definitely going to see it, but im still going to be a little bitch and talk shit about it on the internet [or really loud in the theatre right after the trailer like i did in book of eli]. and the genetic opera certainly has its flaws, but it was just such a fun fuckin movie.

I liked Repo The Genetic Opera, but this looks like it's going to have some bad ass fight scenes in it though. It will probably get a larger release then Genetic opera did.

I agree that the previous Musical Version had some very shitty songs. Some of the lyrics were so fucking pathetic.
