You've heard a ton about Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani's colorful French thriller Amer, but now we've got an exclusive clip from the Argento-esque flick that is guaranteed to pique your interest. Check it out below and tell us what you think (the score is incredibly well done)! Ana is confronted to Body and Desire at three key moments of her life. Her carnal search sways between reality and colored fantasies becoming more and more oppressive. A black laced hand prevents her from screaming. The wind lifts her dress and caresses her thighs. A razor blade brushes her skin, where will this chaotic and carnivorous journey leave her?
beautiful. love the vivid colors and those simple yet effective smooth shots which have been seen in High tension, Martyrs and Inside. unlike Hollywood and their overly flashy crazy shaky camera loud uneffective MTV-video like bull shit. But then again, i'm basically talking about Platinum Dunes lol.
This movie looks like a peice of art. To me it's definitly got a 70's vibe and look to it, yet modernized.

Looks amazing! I was wondering if the retro giallo poster would be the best thing about this, but it looks like this could be some Argento worship done really well.
One of the best teasers I have seen! The French are currently giving us the best horror films, hell the best films period. Argento may have stumbled a bit in his later years however his work deserves homage. Looks great!
This looks really good but I would like to understand what's about... Not even the first reviews from the festivals are able to really give an idea of that.
Anyway it also reminded me of a funny short that I randomly saw under Chirstmas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKIiSFz08b0
"I heard the film makes absolutely no sense"
It wouldn't be a proper tribute to the giallo genre if the plot was entirely logical.
Definitely looking forward to this!
