photos like these often dont do creature effects justice like in this case. they look sorta cheap but with all the proper lighting and film and stuff i'm sure they'll look great. i remember when FVJ pics leaked, i thought Freddy looked so bad it worried me but he looked just fine in the final movie so yeah.

The Predator makeup/mask has never looked as good as it did in the original. Winston's creature design (especially when it was unmasked) is better than any given shot in the three films that followed it. I don't get why that is. You would think the first movie's makeup (from back in 1986-87) would be the least attractive after all of these years.

I totally agree, I always thought that the Predator outfit and suit from the original looked way more realistic than the other films. Predator 2 was alright make-up wise but I thought that the make-up for the AVP movies always made the Predator's face look like plastic and not real at all. Here's to hoping they get it right this time, I don't really think that will happen though cause they don't have the master, Stan Winston, working on this.

Love the look of this. Looks like this is a fitting follow up to the first two Predator movies. We could forget about the crap that was AVP. They dropped the ball on that one, and it could've been as creepy as the video game(survival horror, toss in elements from the early Predator and Alien films), but they had to go all "stupid plot ideas" by having the first one take place in a pyramid in Antartica(on EARTH) and the second one being, well, a mediocre Hollywood slasher meeting Aliens and Predators(on Earth, as well). Predators on Earth is fine(they hunt humans on Earth), but Aliens should've never been on Earth to begin with. Those are something mankind discovers on a distant planet, IN THE FUTURE(when we're colonizing various planets, and there are space fleets and space stations around).
