Diablo Cody Talks Zombedy 'Breathers'

On the heels of the release of Fox Home Entertainment's Jennifer's Body, Oscar winning screenwriter Diablo Cody is out promoting her Showtime TV series "The United States of Tara" where she talked a bit about Breathers: A Zombie's Lament, a new horror-comedy that she will be producing. BREATHERS: A ZOMBIE�S LAMENT is another horror-comedy written by Geoff LaTulippe based on a novel S.G. Browne in which Cody will produce.

It centers on a recently deceased Everyman and newly minted zombie who is having trouble adjusting to his new existence. All that changes when he goes to an Undead Anonymous meeting and finds kindred souls.

�We have a script and I am thrilled with it and hope we can go into production with it soon,� Cody told IF magazine. �It�s a zombie love story. Zombies are so hot now, but I like to think it�s about the personal side of being a zombie and being ostracized.�

�I just started writing it,� Cody continues. �I�m very excited about that. It�s classic �80s series of books about these twins Elizabeth and Jessica and it�s going to be set in the �80s and true to the source material.�

I loved the book, can't wait for the movie. And yeah, you gotta watch those cut n' paste jobs, that last part from the Sweet Valley High segment of the interview made no sense whatsoever.

I hated Jennifer's Body just as much as I loved Juno... this doesn't sound very promising, but as long as she isn't writing it, there may be a chance.

Jennifer's Body was absolutely LAME, it wasn't what I expected. They didn't show her actually foraging, they only showed her shadow ripping this guy apart! It was more rated G than anything! Horror movies are supposed to be hardcore like rated R,MA,or NC-17. HORROR MOVIES ARE SUPPOSED TO BREAK THE RULES!! Diablo please make this horror movie right pleeeze!!!

Hmmmm I wonder what else this dumb cunt can fuck up. I hate her so much. Juno wasn't good at all. It was over hyped. I give it a decent, jen's body sucked ass the only thing that kind of save it was the awesome soundtrack and fox, but she wasn't good looking nor as good as she could of been. So this will prob suck too. Yup shes a hack and got into hollywood cus she knew someone. Damn shame since there's so much REAL talent out there that can't even get close.

All you fuck's must have a hard on for Cody. Are you the fucks who have a hard on for Zombie as well? Jennifer's Body was a good film. I doubt most of you fucks have even watched it. Breathers is a damn good novel..comedic with a dark ending. Not Twilight in the fucking least. Will the movie be good? Who is to say...It might be...it might not. Simple as that. Mr. BD what was your take on Jennifer's Body?

jennifers body couldve of been way better if she didnt have all that quirky lingo talk. & idk Diablo Cody only impressed me with Juno ...im kind of iffy about her doing anything horror now
