Straight from Germany’s most notorious filmmaker, Uwe Boll, comes the first info on BloodRayne 3: Warhammer, the third and final part of Dr. Boll’s fang-tastic vampire trilogy based on Majesco’s bestselling videogame series BloodRayne. You can read all of the latest info beyond the break.
After we’ve already seen her kick ass in 17th century Romania, as well as the Wild West of America, the film’s protagonist, Rayne, has now wound up in Europe during WWII. There she’s got to give hell to a bunch of ruthless Nazis lead by the infamous Dr. Mengele, who’s made the sinister plan to give his beloved Führer immortality by turning him into a so-called dhampir (a crossbreed between human and vampire) through the injection of some Rayne’s blood.
As in BLOODRAYNE 2: DELIVERANCE, the female lead will once again to be taken by DEAD OR ALIVE-star Natassia Malthe, who’s set up against Michael Pare (STREETS OF FIRE), Clint Howard (ROCK’N’ROLL HIGHSCHOOL) and Steffen Mennekes (STOIC) as the main villains.
The crew includes, among others, production designer Marco Bittner Rosser (INGLORIOUS BASTERDS), cinematographer Mathias Neumann (TUNNEL RATS) and producer Dan Clark (IN THE NAME OF THE KING). The gore effects will be handled by sfx artist Francoise Molon.
Shooting will start in Zagreb/Croatia on February 15th, 2010 and if all goes well, the film will be out on DVD later this year.
Oh,how great Natassia Malthe is back.I liked her so much in 'Bloodrayne II-Delieverance'.And it's so nice to see Michael Paré back again,too.Any idea,what character he'll play?Will he play Mengele or any other Nazi Commander?
Man, I love Bloodrayne and am glad they *finally* are putting her up against Nazis and all but...Boll? Again? We're just never ever going to get a watchable Bloodrayne movie, are we?
C'mon, guys, Uwe's not that bad... ok, I'm not the biggest fan of BLOODRAYNE 2 either, but the first one is good fun, I think. And the 3rd one sounds as if it's gonna be totally awesome b-movie camp... I mean, how can a film suck that's about Dr. Mengele tryin' to turn Hitler into a vampire!? Honestly, I'm really lookin' forward to this movie! ;)
I thought they were all cheaply done,
however the only thing that saved these
disastrous films from completely going
down the tubes was the acting,gore &
blood!
Uwe Boll makes REALLY bad films but you just can't help not watch it. I like the 1st one. the 2nd was a bit off but still cheesy enjoyable so I will probably check this one out. I recommend you check out Uwe Boll's Postal. Not a horror film but yet so bad it's fun to watch.
Just a short note for Billie and everyone else lookin' forward to see Michael Pare in BR3. Pare's gonna play the commander of the Nazi forces and Clint Howard is gonna play Dr. Mengele. According to Uwe Boll, these two characters are gonna be the main villains of the movie.
Bloodrayne 1 + 2 are possibly the worst movies of all time. So bad that they arent even on the level of "so bad its fun to watch".. no, its just pure GARBAGE, do not waste your time!!!
