Rising starlet Kristina Anapau (Cursed, Self Medicated) has joined the cast of Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan, reports Moviehole.net. Currently lensing in New York City, the psychological thriller centers on a talented ballerina (Natalie Portman) in the New York City Ballet who is tormented by a rival (Mila Kunis) who might or might not be a figment of the dancer's imagination. "Anapau, who also recently joined the cast of werewolf thriller “First Howl”, plays Russian dancer Galina, a soloist in the ballet company who’s fiercely competing with Portman’s character, Nina, for the lead role in Swan Lake," the site reports. She stars alongside the previously announced Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey and Sebastian Stan.
I'm sure this is the movie they had originally confused with Suspiria b/c I remember Natalie being involved. Some horror fans here "ballet" and they instantly associate it with Suspiria.....
I loved her in Cursed. I can't wait to see this. Awesome script, awesome cast, awesome director...better not be a let down.
