Who know a hairpin could be so handy? Below you'll find the second super-bloody gore clip from Pathe Films' The Descent: Part 2, the sequel to Neill Marshall's thrill-seeking horror film that arrives in theaters December 4. Directed by Jon Harris (interview), the sequel will continue the story of Sarah, who as the only survivor of an all-female caving expedition gone horrifically wrong, suffers severe psychological trauma. Unable to speak, she accompanies a rescue team back to the cave, but events once again take a sinister turn.

Check out several clips and our exclusive gore scene here:

haha oh my god. First of all I don't understand why she kept her mouth open. Second of all I hope the whole movie isnt going to be relying on gags like that to get its shock factor. The first one had the perfect balance, hopefully this one will too

This is starting to look more like your typical part two, less atmosphere, less intelligence, more gore, more kills, and the monsters will be in the open more instead of the shadows.I'm still excited to see it but by what I've seen so far I have low expectations!

cool scene :P this one seems like it's not going to be scary like the first one, but it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun to watch :P

I have just come back from midnight showing of it and can I just say that you ALL MUST see it. It is fucking amazing. I haven't seen a horror movie that good probably since the first one and I didn't even have high hopes for it from the clips I saw. It is AWESOME!

AmandasEvolution, that's awesome too hear!! this really DOES look like it'll be a worthy follow up to the awesome first movie! i just hope they aren't going to keep showing us the entire movie before we even get it in the states! (of course i could always just not watch the clips and wait! LOL)......(and did that crawlers blood look REALLY REALLY raspberry colored to anyone else too! LOL). i can't wait for this, though!

The crawlers in this one are far more violent, dangerous and threatening than they were in the first!

WORST SEQUEL I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!! I expected so much after the first movie was soooooo GREAT!!! But this was the biggest let down. After all this Im still on Juno's side and think the blonde lead girl is a bitch! JUNO SHOULD HAVE SURVIVED... She was bviously the best fighter and strongest. Killing her made it seem so dumb. The scottish bitch finally got her what she deserved in this one thought ehich im very happy about! But it wasn't scary and didnt make you empathise with the characters so you didnt really care when people got trapped or chased!!!

The best Sequals are the ones that stick to the first story. Look at Alien with Aliens, Terminator with Terminator 2, The godfather with the godfather:2. At least they didnt reboot the cast, it still did stick with the first story. Dont know why ya'll are acting like dis, I mean come on its not the return of the Shining
