The wait is (supposedly) over come January 1st, 2010 when Paramount rings in the New Year with a new evil child movie. After sitting on the shelf for years now, the studio is hoping to release Case 39, which stars Renee Zellweger (lemons anyone?), Jodelle Ferland (the creepy kid from Silent Hill) and Bradley Cooper (the reason the movie is probably finally getting released - The Hangover). Below you can check out a whole new batch of stills from the film directed by Christian Alvart (Pandorum). It centers on an idealistic social worker (Zellweger) who saves an abused 10-year-old girl from her parents only to discover that things are not as they appear.
Wow, between the B-D review and the Aussie reviews, doesn't sound good. The New Years Day release is also not a good sign ... must be hoping a bunch of hung-over people with some alcohol still in their systems take a chance on it!
I'll check this out for free when it comes on HBO. I really could give a rats ass what the critics say, i need to see something for my self. Its just that this movie doesn't look interesting and there are better movies playing that i would rather see. Plus its not easy paying $11 bucks a ticket.
ill still see this prob whenever it his dvd or cable. despite the critics. i am prob one of the few that actually like rennee z. and i lik3e 5hat kid from silent hill.
