Bloody Disgusting learned that Anchor Bay is looking to release Adam (Hatchet) Green's deep-freeze thriller Frozen in theaters on February 5, 2010. We'll keep you posted when this is officially announced. Dan, Joe and Parker are three college students on the last day of a skiing vacation in New England. But when they take the last lift up the mountain, and are accidentally stranded halfway up, they must fight for survival against primordial enemies: cold, wind, rain, snow, and altitude. Kevin Zegers, Emma Bell and Shawn Ashmore all star.
Oh hell yes!!! This movie looks scary as hell. I've been stuck on the lift many a time and always wondered what I would do if this happened. And Green + Ashmore = WIN.
Too bad Anchor Bay is handling the theatrical release as like someone already mentioned, they only release films in a limited capacity where most people don't have the opportunity to see them until video. Most recently, they did this with Open Road and Spread.
