The theater version of the movie SUCKS. LOTS of cuts and the ending is too ordinary. The version over the internet, for download, is way better. I hope this "unrated" version is the version on the web...

That does suck only 1 different ending than the theatrical version, ya i agree the version to download on the web (which is the original 2007 ending) is alot better, but I thought this was an OK film to see especially in theaters at least once, but it's no Blair witch, I don't know about seeing it for a second time especially at home, but either way i will still buy the DVD & Blu-ray and happy to see a digital copy will be included with the BD.

I can't wait. I absolutely loved the movie, and can't wait for the DVD.

i heard a rumored release date for the dvd/blu-ray is as early as dec 29th i guess we will know tomorrow because videoeta says they will release the release date on nov 24th

If the phoned in, hollywood 'shot by the police' ending is the only ending on the DVD I'll gladly find a torrented copy instead with the theatrical ending. Yeah it was cliche and a 'jump scare', but the police ending was incredibly stupid. It didn't fit with the rest of the movie in the slightest.

The being shot by police ending had me fucking laughing.

i agree w/ Jason4eva. the online ending (cops) is terrible. i liked the movie in the theaters but when i tried to re-watch it at home it was virtually unwatchable. i think part of the fun (a BIG part) and enjoyment of the movie was the theatrical experience. at home it just made me want to fall asleep.

Give me every possible ending that was dreamed of and filmed.

whats the date of release, and COME ON Peli...you shot like 40 endings, stick them on there! make it worth the Blu Ray price tag

Not only am I upset that there's only one alternate ending, but there's also no mention of ANY other special features. This movie was a phenomenon and a massive box office success, and yet the only features on the DVD are one ending and an "unrated" cut? Pitiful.

dec 29th is the release date and no we don't know any disc specs yet just an advertisement for 2 versions and an alternate ending and also bestbuy says it will have a 2 disc dvd

there is a 3rd ending the "cutthroat" ending its imposible to find online if anyone has a link to it please post it, if they were smart they would put all 3 endings on the dvd and milk the fact that the "cut throat" ending is never before seen

I work at a video store and I saw on Friday night that it was coming out December 29th. I couldn't believe it was being released so soon. Either way, I'll buy it. I really enjoyed the movie. The theatrical ending is easily the best. Not sure what other people are smoking.

What could possibly be "unrated" about this? It was only rated R for language. I was dissappointed with this movie in theaters so I'll pass anyway.
