Lionsgate is really going all out horror to end this year as they've not only started pushing Daybreakers, but also Dominic Sena's hotly anticipated Season of the Witch, which stars Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, Stephen Campbell Moore, Claire Foy, Robbie Sheehan and Stephen Graham. To go along with the teaser, if you head below you can watch the first trailer for the the flick arriving in theaters March 19, 2010. The story revolves around a group of knights in 14th century France who must transport a woman accused of witchcraft to a mountain abbey, where the monks will seek to understand and destroy her powers, believed to be the source of the Black Plague.
let the hating commence by the horror snobs... never been a big fan of Sena but this looks appealing... to the dumb fucks above DO YOU REALIZE THE DIRECTOR OF THE FILM NOR THE STARS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE TRAILER????? IN THIS CASE LIONSGATE PUT OUT THE TRAILER.... SO TO JUDGE A MOVIE BASED ON IT'S TRAILER IMMEDIATELY SHOWS YOU GUYS FAILED THE IQ TEST AND ARE DUMB MOTHERFUCKERS PERIOD
Jeez why all the hate? I'm definitely not a fan of Cage and this movie seems more like a dark action/adventure flick, but the visuals and concept seem pretty cool so I think this might be a fun watch.
SinisterX3 didn't watch the trailer i assume. its not H3 remake (thank god). if it was it wouldn't matter if cage was in it, it would be a steaming pile of crap.
Looks good...Nic's hair doesn't look distracting in this one, and my theory is movies where he has good hair are usually pretty decent so this should be a winner.
Looks like Underworld with witches and fucking Nick Cage, give me a break. I'd possibly see this if it weren't for Nick Cage. Ron Perlman rules. Unfortunately I won't be seeing this.
The trailer is pretty awful, but this could be good, even thought i really don't like Ron Perlman. i don't know why, there's just something about it i really don't like
I like Nick cage alot, but his latest films haven't really been great, but I'll still watch this (ahem on DVD) as Ron Pearlman is always great value.
Ok for a bit of popcorn, saturday night, put your brain in neutral kinda thing
