Arriving in theaters November 25th from Dimension Films is the highly anticipated Joe Penhall adaptation of The Road. Directed by John Hillcoat, the story centers on a man who embarks on a nightmarish road trip after a nuclear explosion in an attempt to transport his son to safety while fending off cannibals. Beyond the break you'll find 10 clips (I believe they're all different) from the flick starring Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Robert Duvall.

I tried watching the first 3 clips ... I can hear the background sound, but NO DIALOG! Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

I loved the book this film is based on, and Viggo is a more than capable actor. Even without the dialogue these scenes were really intense so I can't wait to see the final product later this month, I hope it's great!

This looks like a great end of world film. However, it seems to resemble Denzel Washington's "Book of Eli". Have to see them both to see how close they are in storyline. Of course, Mortenson has a son in "The Road" but then Washington's got that book in "Book of Eli". The book doesn't talk back.

looks cool. it does remind me of the i am legend/book of eli concept which, if done right, can be a good apocalyptic take
