AFM '09: 'The Caller' Evokes 'The Ring' for Inspiration Thursday, November 12, 2009
Bankside Films (Coffin Rock, from the producers of Wolf Creek) has caught my attention with two new horror films, one currently in pre-production. The first is The Caller from director Matthew Parkhill. Penned by Sergio Casci, when troubled divorcee, Mary Kee, begins to receive mysterious phone calls from an unknown caller she quickly begins to feel haunted in her own home. When she discovers that the person is calling from the past, Mary realises that she will have to kill her in order to survive but how do you kill someone living in the past and what will happen if she fails. I like the plot but they can easily screw this. I like the sound of this. Consider me interested. I'm down for this. sounds ok so far depending on who they get as the cast and whenever the teaser trailer comes then ill see if i am more interested in this or not. if it is done well it could be great, i hope they won't screw it up :O |
