OMG, OMFG! Beyond the break you'll find the first official trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures' Clash of the Titans remake, which stars Sam Worthington, Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton, Alexa Davalos, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Izabella Miko and Danny Huston. I'm a huge fan of the original film and am not at all turned off by them remaking this classic story of man vs gods. If anything, this epic adventure could turn heads with CG and the visual effects of today. Count me in! What do you guys think of the footage?

"In “Clash of the Titans,” the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny."

Looks good, the CGI looks great and everything else except for the rock music. Other than that I cant wait

Well, I'm not a fan of the bald/crewcut look for Perseus(wonder if it was inspired by God of War). Other than that, it actually looks stunning! I mean, I seem pretty damn surprised because the trailer doesn't really show much overuse of colored filters. Day shots actually look like they are using full color and other shots seem to rely on natural lighting. My god, that's all but dead in modern cinema(they overuse colored filters and muted colors soooo much, it isn't even funny anymore). So major props for that.

That rock music is the tune to The Used's song The Brid and The Worm.

Well, to be honest, the trailer flat out sucked. If there wasn't the words "Titans. Will. Clash" near the end of it, who the hell would know? To me it's a failure of marketing 101. I understand it's a teaser trailer, but it really, really, really, really failed on all fronts. The music, the quick cutting... Christ, it looked like a Roland Emerich doomsday movie the way it did nothing but show off special effects. It's the equivalent of cinematic porn - show everything up front and leave nothing to the imagination or discovery. Foreplay. That's what teasers should be about. That's why they call them "teasers". This didn't tease me at all. It assaulted my senses, and looked like some hybrid 300/Dragonheart movie.

Looks very good, in a LOTR kinda way. Medusa looks great. Not sure if it will surpass the original though.

CLASH OF THE TITANS and JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS are my favorite Ray Harryhausen epics. This is one type of film where CGI could actually be a huge plus! Hopefully...

The original is a stop motion masterpiece. This looks like a ton of other movies that have been coming out. I wouldn't even have remembered seeing this trailer if it wasn't a remake of a classic.

Honestly, this looks awesome. Im there. Bark, you do indeed have a very valid point, but that being said, Im keeping in mind that this is a remake and they seem to be following the original quite a bit , just maybe on a larger scale. Knowing the original already, they're not really spoiling anything for me,but if you havent seen the original, you certainly have a valid point.

Well I'm also a fan of the original and can count on one hand the number of Hollywood remakes I actually like ... so the bar is set pretty high for me. The video scenes do look promising, but The_Bark nailed it with the trailer having a "bad music/quick cut/hybrid-300" look. Seems like the trailer was made by an MTV music video director. There were only a few words of dialog here (from "Brother Gilbert" of Dragonheart). But hey, it's only a trailer. As long as the actual movie has a more classical score and realistic CGI, I still have high hopes. Let's see a real trailer with slightly longer, multiple clips, and real dialog. At least it didn't show the whole movie from start to finish, as we've seen from some trailers here lately!

There was some cool looking stuff in there, but that was a godawful trailer. Music included.

Hmmm...i smell a mediocre cash cow. Not impressed by the trailer at all, i mean we all know how good the CGI can be but it looks as thought the film trades the thriller mood of the original for your typical blockbuster seen-it-all-before summer flick mood. I also don't like the look of the 3 witches, they now look like something out of Pan's Labyrinth. Music is CRAP

I seriously hope this film doesn't have a shitty fucking "rock" soundtrack, because the action in that trailer looked like pure fun. It needs to have music similar to LOTR, not some emo queer crying about breaking up with his boyfriend.

I'm a HUGE Ray Harryhausen fan, and have been since I was a wee lad. Clash was one of my most beloved childhood films, so initially I was a little apprehensive about a remake. I mean half the charm of the original was the Harryhausen's phenomenal effects, right? This looks (with the GOD AWFUL music aside) like it could be a great ride, and I love that they didn't really show any Kraken footage. I hope they do the same when the full trailer is released. The most important thing with any remake of a Harryhausen film is the attention to the details in the creature. Not by how they physically look, but in how they walk, talk, breath. Harryhausen was a God with those details, so I hope that the same love is shown in the CGI equivalents.

When I was a kid the Medusa scene in Clash creeped me out because it was so slow and the lighting of that room. I think the music and the quick cuts in this trailer threw me off. The scenes look fantastic though. I'm looking forward to this although I agree with Magna about the Perseus crew cut. Not right.

im really excited for this.... but one thing im wondering.. that long haired "Three-Finger (Wrong Turn)" looking guy ...is that the newer take on Calibos? i saw him pop up a couple times, and it seems like it COULD be..but i read that he wont be in the movie..and IMDB shows nothing for me to match him to.

what do you think? is it Calibos? 30-31 seconds shows him turning around to face the camera.

"TItans Will Clash"? LOL! Really? Thanks, Who are the idiots that think up these stupid slogans?

Wow, that trailer kind of sucks, very incohesive, appealing to people with ADD. And the CGI looks pretty bad. I still think it will be an entertaining movie though.
