Lionsgate has officially changed the title of their new thriller Burning Bright to Ravenous. We caught the film starring Briana Evigan (Sorority Row) at the month's AFM and are happy to report back that it's pretty damn entertaining. "While gore-seekers won’t be finding much blood, those who want a fast-paced and engaging ride will find much delight in locking themselves in this house. With remakes and franchise films controlling the market these days, it’s such a treat to take in something as smart (so incredibly smart), original and interesting as RAVENOUS." ok, i'm officially into this movie now after reading your review BD. don't let me down again (after BD's very misleading IMO review of ILS). this sounds great!
@Rambo Lunchbox I agree, I think that Burning Bright is the better title, its more original and it doesnt totally give away what the viewer is in for....Ravenous? kind of sounds like an evil possessed tiger on the loose to eat ur soul Evil Dead style haha
Exactly. Original titles automatically stand out, so why filmmakers change the name of their movies to ones that have been already used is pure stupidity. Burning Bright was fine, there was no reason to change it to the name of a cannibal movie from ten years ago.
Looking forward to this one. Doubt Lionsgate will give it a wide theatrical release though. Will probably end up Direct-to-DVD.
