The pic, which is being screened for international buyers at the American Film Market, stars Nikki Reed (Twilight, Twilight Saga: The New Moon), Betsy Russell (Saw franchise) and Brad Dourif (Child's Play). The storyline follows a serial killer who preys on teenagers. His target: Teens who fail to forward a chain letter. There was a couple books back in the early 90's called chain letter, they were written by Christopher Pike, he did a bunch of young adult horror books. If this is based on that then it has potential cause those books were pretty good back then.

What the hell? Hey, if you guys like that actress from Twilight you'll love this ultra-violent One Missed Call rip-off. This is like advertising Man On Fire or Hounddog by saying it stars "Dakota Fanning of 'Cat in the Hat' fame ". Why not mention actual genre stars. You mention Brad Dourif and Betsy Russell who have starred in actual horror movies but don't appear anywhere in this trailer. The people in marketing don't have the slightest idea how to promote this film. Even if its good it won't matter, the audience for Twilight is not the audience for an ultra-violent slasher film.

Maybe pretty good, always go in with no expectations with these style horrors as many are extremely average. But you never know, it may surprise yet

I, too, am a part of the minority that looks forward to this film. Award winner? Probabl not... but the plot, although sounding cliche, has promise. The trailer is definitely sub-par and could have done a lot better at spotlighting its supposed stellar cast. We wont know til it comes out then.
