Published in 1952, "The Killer Inside Me" concerns a deputy sheriff in a West Texas town whose kind Everyman demeanor masks his true dark self. He is slowly revealed as a psychotic killer. The pic was directed by Michael Winterbottom.
Based on the trailer, I think it's another one of those movies that don't capture the real essence of their book counterparts.
Several hundred pages turned into an hour and a half of film just don't match.
Oh, and where is the laughter?
Read the book. The majority of this trailer takes place within the first act. If you don't know the story, it may really seem like a lot has been given away, but trust me, there's PLENTY of story left in that film.
ya i agree, feels like i just watched the whole movie too through the trailer.....this dont even seem to me like horror....i think ill pass even though i like kate hudson (she should stick to rom. comedies even though liked her in skeleton key) and casey affleck.
Looks like it is worth a watch. I like a good thriller/Crime noir every now and then. Strong cast and they did show a lot of the film from one view thou there should be a lot more to the story. After the movie I will read the book.
