Because the news just won't let me leave the freakin' house tonight, DreamWorks executive-turned-screenwriter Marc Haimes has sold his original screenplay Jitters to Paramount. The flick will be a creepy family film in the early-'80s Amblin mold (think "Gremlins"). In addition, they report that commercial director Fredrik Bond - who will be helming The host remake and the Hack/Slash adaptation - has come aboard to helm Elevator Men, also scripted by Haimes. Elevator follows a single mom in pursuit of Mr. Right who ends up meeting a horrific creature in human guise.
I really hope Elevator Men is as cool as it sounds.
