Eh...this ending sounded a lot better on paper. I surprisingly prefer the theatrical ending to this.

I feel like this ending does not live up to the tension created throughout the entire film. However, I didn't really care for the crappy CG ending that was shown in theatres either. I'd be interested in seeing the other alternate endings. There has to be a better one out there.

i prefer the theatrical ending. it was WAY more unsettling. plus the cap gun guns they use and the fact they shoot a woman who clearly wasn't lunging at them (they could've shot her in the leg...basically a non-kill shot).

This was one of the most overhyped and disappointing movies of all time. It was not the least bit scary and the boyfriend was such an annoying douche. "I can solve this myself. I'm gonna get the demons footprints. That'll fix everything". For the idiots on this site, that obviously was not an actual quote. Just a terrible movie. Both of the endings sucked. It's a shame the best Saw film since the second came in second to this piece of garbage.

I am w/ the mighty griff and please stop remakes. Both endings are horrible and the movie overall was boring as hell. The character of Micah was such an asshole and it made the "strong modern woman" character look like an idot for staying w/ thus macho piece of shit. For all who bought into the "fans" have a say, you are all fucking idiots. This might be the best marketing of a piece shiy movie ever. Long live The Blair Witch Project!

I would have liked this ending better if something had happened to the cop when he checked the back bedroom where the light came on....it should have been him thrown down the hall toward the camera....though, that's quite a way to throw anyone.
