Bloody Disgusting learned that Genius Products/Weinstein Company's December 29 DVD release of "Lesbian Vampire Killers" has been retitled to Vampire Killers. In the UK horror comedy two clueless friends find themselves part of a bloody big adventure when they wander into a feeding ground for a band of fangs-baring vampire babes. With a busload of hot history students to protect, they'll try to survive the night, break an ancient curse, and take down as many buxom bloodsuckers as possible.
I guess this shouldn't be surprising - various stockists of the DVD in the UK conveniently placed a comedy 'warning' label over the 'Lesbian' of the title. God forbid the word lesbian offend anyone, rather than the gratuitous, faceless cleavage of the cover art.
So, wait, are they lesbian killers or lesbian vampires? I need to know which side I'm supposed to be rooting for. :-)
