Rob Zombie Completes 'Halloween II' Director's Cut

Much like his 2007 remake, writer/director Rob Zombie has been diligently working on a Director's Cut of Halloween II. "Halloween 2 director's cut is finally done," Zombie says on his Twitter account. "Very different than the theatrical version." For those of you who picked up the Director's Cut of the remake, you know just how different this could be. I look forward to checking it out. For you super fans out there, don't forget that H2 will be returning to 1,000 theaters this weekend so you have three horror flicks to dig on after eating all those sweets.

I can't wait for this one to hit DVD. I loved the theatrical cut, but it could've been better. Hopefully RZ's cut fixes some of the problems.

Static, there's a small button under this white text box that says, "Add Comment" So while you try being a uptight hardass by saying, "No Comment" your really still leaving a Comment

I actually liked H2, of course it's flawed but I though it worked better than H1. I wouldn't mind seeing it in the theater again.

Wow now we get more hillbillies and more of the F word. Zombies Halloween movies suck ass and should never be seen by horror fans.

Sadly I don't think a directors cut can fix the problems with the movie. Taking away my feelings towards the rebooted franchise the film still has a huge problem. It isn't different from the original, nothing changes with the characters or for that matter the story. Michael escapes, stalks Laurie, Annie stabbed presumed dead, Loomis hurt presumed dead, Michael shot presumed dead and Laurie appears to go crazy. That is what happened in the first, exactly what changed? It just feels like a pointless movie if you could make a third one which could easily be watched directly after the 1st.

I thought the way H2 was edited was the biggest problem with it. So maybe this will clean it up a little?
