Final Creepy Theatrical Trailer for 'Paranormal Activity'
Friday, October 16, 2009

Paramount PIcture released the final theatrical trailer for Paranormal Activity today, which should now be open in a theater near you. Tell the theater manager to CRANK IT! Don't forget to write your own review. After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban “starter” tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to.

I'm so glad to see that a least one Indy horror movie gets a great release like this. I only wish Midnight Meat Train would have gotten this kinda love.

Again, this movie SUCKED. It is not scary at all! The guys on this site that is raving over this in their review obviously has some personal connection with the makers of the movie. And seriously, it was the makers of the movie and their friends that got this movie hyped and playing in all the theaters. Not people who "liked" the movie. This is only scary for maybe a 10 yr old.

I honestly don't know what the hype is about, watching the trailers i don't really get anything, it just doesn't seem that scary. I guess i'll just have to watch it and see if it lives up to the hype.

OK, I still haven't seen it, but I am definitely going tomorrow. That trailer convinced me to go.

What I also meant to say, I liked the trailer because it didn't rely on showing the audiences responses.

This movie is for REAL, I have to say maybe one of the best horror movies made in a long time. I couldnt tell you the last time I've been in a horror movie and been able to hear a pin drop. This movie isnt a fluke there's to many people still watching it and giving positive reviews. I'm going this week to see it again. And yes tell the manager to CRANK IT

I lived in an actual haunted apartment in New Orleans 20 years ago. For this movie to be so "scary"...the ghosts MUST be "demonic"... The ghosts I felt and heard were just hangin'-out being unhappy...I never felt "evil" vibes...but it was "unnerving" to think that "something" could see me and watch me sleep...etc.

"which should now be open in a theater near you." Yeah, emphasis on "should". It's not playing in my town and we're the capital of the state! I was really looking forward to seeing this earlier today, but, of course, it's not playing here. Just my luck. Damn liars on the TV spot and now this trailer; "in theaters everywhere" my ass!

Ban Planet Mario. Seriously.

I haven't seen this yet but I bet the ending of the movie is when the guy gets thrown into the camera.

yes, the ending is in the trailer but why bother announcing what it is in the comments?

I must have not had the requisite lobotomy done before entering the theater because this was a poorly made movie. And I am not a skeptic either. I would rather watch a documentary on ghosts/hauntings over this tripe. No one in the theater screamed at all. There was some laughter for the intentional and non-intentional parts of the movie, ex. (SPOILER) girl being pulled out of the bed. That was fuunny not scary. The loud banging, slamming of the door and sheet rustling have been done and far better. If you are curious buy into the hype, but it could be a movie that is more suitable at home with the lights off. I give it a D-.

This is a hit or miss type of film and for me it was a home run. I miss watching a truley horriffic film and this was one. NO GORE...NO CGI..just plain atmosphere and script with a few tricks here and there. The 11k went a long way. I say even if you don't or didn't like this film support it just being the fact that this film is original. Not a remake which was planned but scraped. Not a big budget waste like most of what were given. A true honest to goodness idea that turned out to be one heck of a film. I would love to see the other 2 supposed endings..I've heard about them but haven't seen them. Hopefully on the Blu-ray release they'll add them on. If you call yourself a horror fan and I've been on for 97% of my 29 years on this thing called earth you'd go out and see this film!!
