This scene, even though seemingly innocent, looks like it will go into a much bigger point of where this film is supposed to take place. Self mutilation, real sex, banned in the UK (not too hard these days) cant tell me that their just gonna laugh it off =P

I already "get" the tone of this film. Anyone who has lost a child will find something in this film. Being a mother, I can only imagine the pain this couple is feeling. Thanks for sharing this clip. It speaks volumes!! My son had shoes just like those. But he out grew them and he can now put on his own shoes.

yeah, this has been online for months. i just haven't really wanted to watch it. apparently it shows a woman cutting out her clitoris or something. not my kind of thing.

I'm not sure there's really any way you can "spoil" Antichrist as the plot isn't particularly important. Not even really sure it's a horror film, to be honest! It's a very strange work. Oh and despite what ChildoftheKoRn says, the film most definitely was NOT banned in the UK! It played at most cinemas here a few months back now! Unless I just sat in an empty room and imagined it? Hmm.

This movie is excellent! One of the best I've seen in quite some time. In terms of whether this is a "plot point" or not, that's very much debatable, just like the entire movie. Go see it. Talk about it. see it again.
