Starring up-and-comer Briana Evigan (Sorority Row, Mother's Day) is Sobini Films' long delayed Burning Bright, which Lionsgate is looking to release in the near future. Today we got our hands on the sales art for the film directed by Carlos Brooks. When 20 year old Kelly wakes late at night during a hurricane, she finds a hungry tiger stalking her through the halls of her home. With every door and window boarded up from the outside and her stepfather nowhere to be found, Kelly fights frantically to stay one step ahead of the killer beast while dragging her autistic brother Tom through the house, but with every turn the situation becomes more complicated and desperate.
this looks like it's trying to be all 70's or something. it's like it's trying to be like HOUSE OF THE DEVIL'S really cool 70's/early 80's inspired poster. i don't think this poster works. but that's just me. i'll have to see about this movie. it's going to take a LOT of suspension of disbelief for me to buy the whole story/premise.
to be honest the plot sounds fucking ridiculously stupid, if they can pull it off though, it could be awesome. We will see. The poster is mediocre at best.
this film is beyond retarded. I walked out of the test screening and said I had a migraine just to leave early. The poster just adds to the retardation. The script went viral about 9 months ago and honestly it read like a kid with a crayon and a full diaper wrote it.
Briana was hot.
Finally some new news on this movie. Just release it already!
