Halloween is right around the corner and pretty soon we’ll be seeing plenty of vampires and zombies take to the streets in their quest for human brains and blood…uhm, I mean, candy. While vampires are in the spotlight with the popularity of the Twilight series, Zombies have been the cult favorite for years now. Starz explores the evolution of the movie zombie - from early films to its present role as a pop culture icon. Starz Inside: Zombiemania (premiering tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13 at 10:00 p.m. on Starz) is a fun look at the Zombie craze around the world.
Featuring clips from a vast library of Zombie films and Zombie experts, including the “grandfather of Zombie films” George A. Romero and best-selling author Max Brooks. The documentary traces the evolution of the Zombie from its roots in African folklore and Haitian Voodoo to its current role as pop culture icon.
That was disappointing. I've been liking the docs that starz is putting out, but this one could have been a lot better.
