Courtesy of the MySpace page, a brand new image of Shannon Elizabeth as Angela from Night of the Demons has popped up online. Directed by Adam Gierasch from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jace Anderson, and also starring Diora Baird, Monica Keena, Bobbi Sue Luther, Jonathan Beach, Michael Copon, Tiffany Shepis and Edward Furlong, the film is a remake of the classic 80's movie where a group of teens are possessed by demons. No release date has been set.
"Angela Feld is throwing the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties at the infamous Broussard Mansion in New Orleans, where dark events transpired almost a century ago. But when the packed party gets busted by the police, Angela and her friends Maddie, Lily, Suzanne, Colin, Dex and Jason are the only ones left behind. Soon Colin and Angela make a grisly discovery in the basement and inexplicable events start to take place. With the mansion gates mysteriously locked, the seven find themselves trapped for the night...and soon they're fighting ancient demons for their very souls."
Just watched the original yesterday. I usually don't care for remakes of my favorites, but I do like the language this director uses when speaking of this film. I am really excited.
Excuse me, Scurgar, but she looks just like what the original was trying to invoke. Oh, guess you've never seen it. Angela was "goth" before it was "kewl". She does seem to be a little thing, though.

yes, true. she has doen horror before. just not that well. 13 ghosts comes to mind as her worst performance. if "worst" can even be applied to her "talent". with that said, the original had bad acting, so it's up to par i guess. NOW WHEN THE FUCK DO WE GET NIGHTBREED FROM THE REMAKE WHORES?????

But seriously, what I meant by my comment was the only thing Shannon Elizabeth was good for was her body (and even that isn't worth watching) Even for horror movies her acting is horrid. I'm not expecting Oscar material but give someone new a chance in this role. Don't waste it on someone who was a has been before even her first gig.
