Well, you guys did it now, you got behind the little indie film that could and propelled it to stardom. Following 2-weeks of nationwide midnight only sellouts and fan frenzy over the limited release hit thriller Paranormal Activity (review), moviegoers everywhere have been heard! Over 1,000,000 people from around the country demanded the film play in their city by logging on to ParanormalMovie.com. In response, Paramount Pictures will release the film nationwide beginning Friday, October 16th. Mark your calendars, it's on! Get ahead of the game as tickets for the movie will be on sale via ParanormalMovie.com by 5pm PST on Tuesday, October 13th. Those who have ‘demanded it’ will get the first alert when tickets go on sale. More inside.

From the very beginning, we put this film in the hands of the fans and we trusted them to tell us where and when it should be seen. We couldn’t be more thrilled by their overwhelming support and we are happy to release the film in every town - big and small,” said Rob Moore, Vice Chairman of Paramount Pictures.

The movie Roger Ebert of The Chicago Sun-Times called ““an ingenious horror film. It’s so well made it’s truly scary” is currently garnering 90% on RottenTomatoes.com.

You do realize you all just fell for a slick marketing campaign right? Looks down right horrible. Studio bought it for pocket change and are turing it around for a quick buck. You're all suckers.

So like I can't wait to see "Beautiful mind: The second coming" or Notebook 2:trapper keeper" I'll spend my hard earned money where I please.... But I'd still rather spend it on movies like this one that half the garbage Hollywood hands us on a daily basis.....

FleshTrap666...you forgot Haunted Hotel for Dogs : The Dog Haunter-er, Miley Cyrus gets hit by a train and finally dies ( no relation ) and Hello TCM! - The Kitty version you never saw in theaters...I was also a "voice". I will be seeing this if it really comes to my town...and as for the execs decision "YOU HAVE SPOKEN!"...sure its shit, but its also marketing...I wish they would have done this for countless numbers of awesome crap that plays nationwide ...Ghostrider, Wickerman (NC+2), Unborn, Prom Night, TWILIGHT, Pulse, etc...Well the Wickerman may have won best unintentional comedy, but I digress...an ORIGINAL horror movie has had it's day, rejoice...TCM 3-D is coming your way.

Finally got it released by me! I had to drive 45 minutes to see it but it was definatly worth it! I think haunting and ghost movies suck! they are never scary but paranormal activity was amazing! The ending was also one of the best parts!!
