Now that filming is well underway for Darren Lynn Bousman's Mother's Day you can expect all sorts of little gory goods to start to appear. Today IGN scored an exclusive behind-the-scenes video from the set in Winnipeg that features Bousman, along with cameos featuring stars Deborah Ann Woll, Alexa Vega, Jaime King, Lloyd Kaufman among others. Written by Scott MIlam, the remake of the classic Troma film follows three brothers on the run from the law head for home, only to discover that their mother lost the house in a foreclosure. Mother ingeniously orchestrates her sons' escape, teaching the house's new owners and their guests a few lessons along the way.
I hope this turns out good. I loved the original, I would hate to see this turn out like a PROM NIGHT or WHEN A STRANGER CALLS WB style teen flick. Maybe the trailer will convince me. I'll give it a chance.
