With Michael Dougherty's horror anthology Trick 'r Treat finally arriving on Blu-ray and DVD this past Tuesday (after a 2-year wait), the artist/writer-turned-director revealed to MTV that he already is working on a sequel. “Yeah, I have to say that the excitement over the past few months of watching the film grow has started to jumpstart some ideas, and I know how the next one ends,” Dougherty revealed, saying he’s already brainstorming sequel ideas. “If this [DVD release] does become something, if it catches executives off-guard, it might [get sequels]. I would love to do them.” Can we not wait two years this time? PLEASE?! Write your own review and tell BD what you think!

Wicked! Make it a hard "R" and this will rock. I'm willing to bet that Trick R treat will be one of the best selling DVD's this year.

My copy just arrived in the mail today, along with "Them" and I can't wait to watch both of 'em.

Awesome. Bring on a sequel(s) .I just bought it on Tuesday and it was a blast. I highly recommend it to any horror fan. Just buy it, you wont be dissapointed. I'm gonna watch it again right around Halloween. This will be a classic.

God damnit... get this one a theatrical release FIRST, then worry about a sequel. I've watched it twice already, and will be watching it again in a little bit- this NEEDS TO BE IN THEATERS.

This movie kicked ass and should have been in theaters. Hopefully, the sequels will be as good as this little gem of a film, and not some crap that they rush out there to make a buck. Stick with what worked for the sequels.

Umm, they aren't going to give it a theatrical release when they just released it on DVD. I myself enjoyed, but was disappointed with TRICK 'R TREAT. I'm still definitely game for a sequel. I'd love to see one actually. The first was certainly gorgeous looking and had terrific atmosphere, I just wasn't crazy about the stories.

I could not be happier than to here of a possible sequel to this now one and only official HALLOWEEN season film. ... But just keep in mind, its gonna be really had to feel these giant shoes and it's even harder to catch lighting in a bottle twice.

I LOVED this movie! I've already watched it twice, and plan on watching it again with friends on Halloween. I would love a sequel...I think it could definitely stay fresh since its several short stories woven into one movie. Bring it on!!
