People have been ranting and raving about D. Kerry Prior's The Revenant, which played at last month's Fantastic Fest in Austin. Early this morning the trailer for the film was discovered over on YouTube and can be watched beyond the break. Visit the official website for more. The film is a horror movie/buddy comedy about Joey and his undead friend Bart who comes back from the dead as a revenant: an articulate zombie that needs to drink blood to arrest the decomposition of his body.

The Revenant will be playing at this month's Screamfest Horror FIlm Festival in Hollywood on Tue, Oct 20, 2009 at 7:00 PM. Get Tix.

Blood-Sicles 8:51am, October 2, 2009 Saw this at Fantastic Fest and the film was awesome! Ignore the trailer- it's awful. I hated the actors until I saw the movie- they were so perfect and hilarious. The movie also looks low budget here, but it was shot on 35mm and the effects are really impressive even on a big screen. Can't freaking wait to see it again!!!
