i watched this today (it's on torrent sites) and it IS really cute. i say cute because it REALLY could've been rated PG-13. it's not a bad movie but it's not the holy grail so many people are claiming it is. i liked the Anna Paquin story and the "school bus/quarry" storylines the most.

Cute? Could have been PG-13? Wrong and wrong.

well...it's definitely not an R (i got to see it in theatres here in TO...super great crowd). but it doesn't need to be. i wouldn't say PG-13 though...while it's no splatter movie, there is definitely some killin goin on. i think it makes great use of sound effects and acting chops in the place of splatter. and the halloween atmosphere in this movie is absolutely fantastic. watch it with friends! and if there aren't enough chunks for ya, follow it up with dead alive or something ;)

It definitely is an R. Violence against children? Lots and lots of blood? Boobs? Cussing? Sounds like an R to me. It's not a hard R, but that doesn't make it any less deserving of its rating. Who cares though? This movie was fun.

Scurgar - good call man..it's been a month or so since i've seen it...i forgot that there were sweet boobies. anyway, i give it 10 skulls...and the night flier is terrifying.

Night Flier is definitely an underrated flick and it pretty much has the most awesome looking vampire ever.

agreed...i think i'll have to watch it again...it's been a long time (i.e. it was a new release on VHS at the time)...my little brother and i watched it; and terror ensued.
