Two ‘Children of the Corn’ Promo Trailers
Arriving on DVD October 6th from Anchor Bay Entertainment is the SyFy Channel remake of Children of the Corn, which stars David Anders, Kandyse McClure, Daniel Newman and Preston Bailey. Beyond the break you’ll find the two promos for the remake that comes from co-writer/producer/director Donald P. Borchers. It’s 1975, and a young married couple Vietnam vet Burt (David Anders of ALIAS and HEROES) and preachers daughter Vicki (Kandyse McClure of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) are driving cross-country straight into the heartland of Hell. Here in Gatlin, Nebraska, the towns bloodthirsty children led by the boy preacher Isaac and his teen enforcer Malachai have slaughtered all adults by command of He Who Walks Behind The Rows. Now two new Outlanders have arrived
and The Time Of Sacrifice is at hand. Preston Bailey (DEXTER) and Daniel Newman co-star in this brutal and chilling re-imagining of Kings infamous tale, featuring graphic footage not seen in the Syfy Channel broadcast.

Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’ with Extended Cut & ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ Get Criterion Release in October
Guillermo del Toro had previously teased an extended cut of Frankenstein., and it’s finally on the way as part of the film’s new Criterion Collection release this October.
Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein joins the Criterion Collection on October 27, 2026.
The release includes the theatrical cut, as well as “The Reborn Cut” which adds 8 additional minutes to the theatrical runtime.
