I guess the cat is out of the bag as Danny Trejo has been telling attendees of the HorrorFind Weekend that he's set to star in Nimrod Antal's Predator remake, Predators, which is being produced by Robert Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios for 20th Century Fox. No word on what his role will be just yet. In this version, a group of humans will find themselves stranded on a planet home to Predators and must survive the horrors they encounter. James Cameron pulled a similar move with his advancement of the "Alien" franchise in his "Aliens." Fox hopes to get this in theaters by July 9, 2010.
sound cool, I have rserved feeling about this movie, Mr. Trejo will be an awesome addition, I've been looking foward to a 3rd predator for too long, I just hope the predators will be getting killed off easily...
Well it looks like Rodriguez and Trejo are setting up to be the next John Carpenter, Kurt Russel duo with all the movies their doing. Which I don't mid at all.
im a big fan of danny trejo but i dont see him in this movie. dont get me wrong i dont think he would fuck it up he's kick'd ass in every movie he's been in i just hope hes not kill'd off in it
IDK how its gonna work,afully armed platoon couldnt take out one predator,now there gonna take on a planet full? ok i know there not waging war on the planet but you know what im sayin.
This isn't a remake by any means, it's a sequel. And why is anyone surprised that Trejo has been cast? The whole reason he's an actor is because Rodriguez put him in his movies including this one, they are cousins. PS. This movie should be badass!
If it lives up to the many promises made in the script review, this should be the Predator movie I've been waiting for since the credits first rolled on the original. Cautiously optimistic...
I'm a big fan of Danny Trejo but i still have my doubts about Predators being made. what century would Predators takes place in? how did the humans get on the predator's homeworld? i just think that this movie is gonna bombed. i just wished it was on earth having a rogue predator hunting everyone on earth. this movie is just a copy cat of James Cameron's 1986 classic and my most personal favorite movie of all time Aliens. sounds too much like aliens instead of the aliens they're having predators. i just feel this movie is a fucking rip-off.
