Update: Paramount contacted us letting us know they expect to hit upwards of $150k this weekend! For those of you who are curious as to how Paranormal Activity kicked off its theatrical run, it did pretty outstanding. Opening in only 12 screens this weekend, the film took in $33,600 on Friday alone with the film looking to take in close to $100k by Sunday. If you guys continue to demand it, there’s a good chance of it expanding and making even more next weekend.
