With Paranormal Activity performing well and Eli Roth's Cotton going into production soon, it looks as if Blair Witch inspired films are still hotter than ever (shocking considering it's been 10 years already). Bloody Disgusting got exclusive word on a new horror film in development over at Lionsgate entitled The Vatican Tapes. From a screenplay by Chris Borrelli, a tape is leaked from the Vatican that displays an exorcism that goes horribly wrong. It's said to take on attributes from Blair Witch and REC. Gary Lucchesi (the Underworld franchise, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Pathology, The Midnight Meat Train) is producing.

Damn, and I loved all of those movies! This should be good.

the poughkeepsie tapes was horribad any way brotha your not missing anything ,there's a reason why you haven't seen or heard of It and likely wont ever again It's that bad ...go watch the "last horror movie"
That video has been around for a while and I sincerely believe that it's authentic...so why in the hell are we looking at it as a sort-of "entertainment"?
Well, actually, I've noticed that everyone has been rather sensitive about it.
