With Paramount Pictures' Paranormal Activity (review) beginning its journey into theaters this Thursday at midnight, the story behind the low budget indie horror film has never really been told to the public. Where did it come from? How was it picked up by Paramount? How did Steven Spielberg's experience watching the film affect the acquisition? We're on the cusp of a new Blair Witch phenomenon and you guys are all part of it. If you head on over to the LA Times you'll find a lengthy article about Oren Peli's film, which is guaranteed to scare the sh*t out of most of you. Don't forget to DEMAND IT in a theater near you.
Yeah but for how long will it play? More than likely I won't be able to see it if it is only gonna be in theaters for 1 week. If it stays for at least 2-3 I should be able to catch it.
I'd really like to see this, but I guess I'll have to wait for it to be released on DVD as with 'Trick R' Treat', because I doubt it'll be playing at my local theatre.
