Based on Clive Barker's short story, Dread is a psychological thriller centering on three college students who study other people’s fears. As the study progresses, one of the students begins to seek salvation from his obsession by exploiting the terrors of his fellow participants. Directed by Anthony DiBlasi, the film is one of next year's fourth annual After Dark Film Festival and stars Jackson Rathbone, Shaun Evans, Hanne Steen and Laura Donnelly. Read on for the official one sheet, along with a new still and check the film out in theaters on January 29, 2010.
Cannot wait for this one... as an aspiring filmmaker and horror fan, I always wanted to adapt this story... very anxious to see if the crew did it justice...
Ill be sure to check this one out this weekend. Was gonna see Survival of the Dead (bc they both screen at the same time) but apparently Survival film sucks, so awesome!
