How can people actually look forward to this piece of shit? We're talking about a PG-13 crapfest directed by the same man responsible for Prom Night...seriously what the fuck?

I with Sin Daddy Prom Night was complete shit and this only adds to my reasons for hating most remakes.

The script for this was far better than Prom Night, so I'm looking forward to it just a bit. It looks pretty sharp and action packed.

Why are people complaining about this being PG-13? The original wasn't exactly hardcore material and would easily get a PG-13 today! It was good though, but I think this remake looks quite good too. Amber Heard FTW!

I have no problems with the PG-13 rating. It's just the fact that Hasbeenwood only cares about money, so they'll shoot an R rated movie for DVD and trim it down to a PG-13 for the theaters. Also, this is a POS remake.

this really doesn't look that bad. however, the fact that it's from the same writer and director of Prom Night turns me off a great deal.

It looks good, but they overused what I'm guessing is one of their best scenes, that power saw 'pendulum' scene.

PG13 does not mean it will be bad. I enjoy thrillers if they are suspenseful and have good acting. The Stepfather was more of a suspense/thriller than a horror film anyway. The only thing R really means is sex/nudity, excessive blood/gore and bad language which gets tiring these days the way it's overdone. One, I don't sex/nudity to enjoy a film. Two, blood/gore is not scary or needed as proven way back with Carpenter's Halloween or Clark's Black Christmas. Three, I don't need to hear several characters saying "f*ck" in every other sentence. So haters of PG13 wise up and shut up! My only hesitation with this is that it has the same writer/director as Prom Night which was beyond terrible. But at least the acting here seems better. The writing seems better and hopefully the director can create some reasonable suspense! These previews actually look good so I will check it out. At least the movie isn't a bunch of teeny-boppers who can't act like in Prom Night.

Damn this looks pretty good. At least it looks more intense and scary than "Prom Night", which I actually enjoyed for it's cheesy entertainment value alone. These TV spots are way better than the trailer. Looking forward to seeing this!

Looks ok but PG-13 ??? you could have done a lot better I imagine with an R version of this , this movie will almost certainly be ho-hum & could have been a lot more .
