While we were disappointed with Solomon Kane, the big shocker was Joe Dante's children's horror fantasy The Hole, a film that is sure to make 80's film lovers happy. "While most of the iconic horror directors are drifting into the abyss, Dante has somehow reinvented himself and delivered a solid and scary children’s horror film that will be remembered years to come." I TOLD you guys! It's Joe Dante for Christ sake: the guy who made Gremlins 1&2, Innerspace, The 'burbs, Small Soldiers, The Howling, The Explorers--the man is just awesome. Most of you let ONE poster convince you it would be lame, and that's rediculous considering the caliber of the filmmaker. So... how many of you are "Absolutely not interested" now?!

Agree with thedeadmaytastebad, Joe Dante hardly ever churns out a turd, i mean go watch the 'burbs' and tell me that isn't one of the best made comedy/thrillers ever made, great score, great acting and directing and amazing set design, can't wait for this one
