i didn't really care for the original and this keeps falling off my radar but i DEFINITELY want to see this!

Yeah, I know I'll get shredded for saying this but I'm not the biggest fan of the original in the first place. I don't know about this remake... I'm not too crazy about remakes.

If the UK has this already a DVD release in the UK might save me having to wait for the US theatrical release.

@deathlock / americangods: It's not "in UK theaters" or on DVD, it just had its world premiere at a UK festival. AFAIK, the actual UK release date has not been set, US theatrical date on IMDB is 9th October 2009. So want to see this remake! The UK already seen this movie?! Funny how all the awesome movies get to be seen in Europe before we get to see them. Same with Cabin Fever 2, it premiered in Germany already! One guy said in IMDB that it was crazy, but really good! Why should we have to wait so fucking long!?
