'Paranormal Activity' Trailer Proves the Audience is in For a Treat!

Update: First cities listed below! To go along with the official poster, beyond the break you'll find the trailer debut for Oren Peli's Paranormal Activity, which hits limited theaters next Friday. In the film, after a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban “starter” tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to. Read my review of the film and check out the newly launched official website for info on how to get the film playing near you.

Get ready for FREE limited screenings on September 24th courtesy of Fantastic Fest in: LA, NY, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, & Seattle. Then, on September 25th, it expands to include, Austin, TX; Durham, NC; Boulder, CO; Lincoln, NB; Orlando, FL; Seattle, WA; Ann Arbor, MI; Baton Rouge, LA; Columbus, OH; Madison, WI; Santa Cruz, CA; State College, PA; and Tucson, AZ. DEMAND IT in a theater near you!

Follow PARANORMAL ACTIVITY on Twitter, where you can find reactions from these screenings, press reviews, updates, and future engagement announcements.

Looks decent but watching a bunch of teen girls scream doesn't tell me much...teen girls were screaming at Scream 3 in theatres, for God's sake...

That trailer just kicked my ass. Brilliant stuff. I've been demanding this movie for about a year now and it's so close to reality...I might be able to head down to state college but I'm not sure cause thats about 3-4 hrs away...I'm demanding a wide release!

ENOUGH WITH THESE JERK OFF AUDIENCE REACTION TRAILERS!! Such bullshit. I've been to countless horror movies and NOT ONE film had the crowd acted like pussies. A jump here and there but not mouths agape. Fucking stupid hype. And this jerk off movie is only getting hype here because of their jerk off hype quote on the trailer!! Fuck this. And fuck this site for trying to doupe mutha fuckas out of their money.

This does look quite interesting. However, I'm not really keen on the whole shacking camera thing, makes me nauseous. But, it still looks good.

Curse living outside of Chicago! So close but so far! Hopefully if we spread the demand enough Paramount will get smart and wide release it.

i would like to give a crap about this movie if it was playing ANYWHERE NEAR me. yeah, and people don't act like that in movie theaters. they knew there were cameras on them. so whoever acted the most scared would have a better chance to make it into the trailer, haha.
